Many of my readers are new, and only know me through my short stories. So, I thought I'd give a writing update and get everyone up to speed.
Though I love writing short fiction and non-fiction, my first writing love is writing Christian Historical Romance novels. My debut series, A Lady of Hope, set in the Georgian Era in England, is in varying stages. The proposal for Book One is in the hands of a literary agent at the moment. It could take a few months before I know whether or not they will offer a contract. Whatever happens, I am trusting the Lord to lead me and my stories where we'll bring Him the most glory, for that's my highest goal. As of now, Book One and Two are being edited/revised as quickly and thoroughly as possible, and Book Three is in the planning stage. Inspirational Fiction, an Inside Look, & Irresistible Romance!

In the meantime, please enjoy my short stories. Coming soon is my newest short story, The Heir Comes Home, set in a small frontier town, Nacogdoches, Texas, in 1835. I think you'll love my main characters, Regina Waters and Kyrk Stewart. Although Kyrk has a few rough edges that need smoothing. Between his twin sister Kathleen and Regina, he might polish up nicely. I'll be sure to let you know when this story is available.
