Publishing News! (Timeless Love Blog and Newsletter)
You'll love this Clean Contemporary Flash Fiction Romance inspired by my hometown . . .
Accepting his warm, rough grip, she tried to recall if they’d met. No way. She would’ve remembered . . .

Book of the Month! (Timeless Love Blog and Newsletter)

"Jimmy Propfield joined the army for two reasons: to get out of Mobile, Alabama, with his best friends Hank and Billy and to forget his high school sweetheart, Claire.
Life in the Philippines seems like paradise--until the morning of December 8, 1941, when news comes from Manila: the Japanese have bombed Pearl Harbor. Within hours, the teenage friends are plunged into war as Japanese warplanes attack Luzon, beginning a battle for control of the Pacific Theater that will culminate with a last stand on the Bataan Peninsula and end with the largest surrender of American troops in history.
What follows will become known as one of the worst atrocities in modern warfare: the Bataan Death March. With no hope of rescue, the three friends vow to make it back home together. But the ordeal is only the beginning of their nearly four-year fight to survive.
Inspired by true stories, The Long March Home is a gripping coming-of-age tale of friendship, sacrifice, and the power of unrelenting hope."
Be warned, though this story is a Christian Historical Fiction, there is violence and graphic portrayals of wartime realities. That said, it was a powerful story, and if you can handle the blood and gore, I highly recommend it.

A Life of Gratitude (Timeless Love Blog and Newsletter)

It's so easy to become focused on the negative, on the disappointments, rejections, and losses. I'm learning to recognize the blessings amid the difficult situations in life. And I'm trying to learn the lessons the Lord is teaching me through it all. If I can be faithful, grateful, and positive even in the hard times, how much sweeter will the joyful days be? What about you? Are you a "glass half full or half empty" person? I'm here to say my glass is overflowing, and so is yours.
"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

June's Book Launches! (Timeless Love Blog and Newsletter)
Heart of Hope launched June 10th! Get it here!
Although this book is labeled #15 in the Hearts of the West series, it is a standalone. The books in this series are separate stories set in the west written by different authors.

Heart of Hope by Kimberly Keagan
"When Bridget Flynn inherits a failing mine in the Arizona Territory, she’s determined to save her father’s legacy—even if it means working with the man who broke her heart. Hugh Astley came to Victory out of loyalty, never expecting to see Bridget again. As they work side by side to rebuild the town, danger, buried secrets, and old wounds threaten their fragile truce. Can they find forgiveness—and love—before time runs out? Heart of Hope is a sweet Western romance of second chances, faith, and resilience, perfect for fans of forced proximity and cross-class love stories."
Short Bio:
Kimberly Keagan is a former corporate financial writer (not very romantic) who now crafts historical romances filled with strong heroines, swoon-worthy heroes, faith, and a touch of humor. Her Gilded Age romance, Perfect, is her debut novel.

It's an amazing way to meet other like-minded Christian authors and make friends with people who understand the struggle. If you attend writers' conferences, what is your favorite part?

Works in Progress (WIPs) (Timeless Love Blog and Newsletter)
💗A Lady of Hope novel series: The first novel in this series, Hope for Charity, is in the hands of three publishing houses for review. Please pray with me that my debut novel will find a home, possibly with one of those houses which would each be an amazing place for my story to land.
💗A Love Worth More Than Gold novel series: Revising the first book and querying.
💗Button Day and A Bright Yellow Dress (non-fiction short stories): Editing before submitting to Chicken Soup for the Soul
💗 My contributing blog for the MomQ blog in July is due this month.
💗 Currently learning how to make a book cover for my flash fiction story, A Side of Hope, and enter it in a BookFunnel Group Promotion. (Not easy for my technologically challenged self. 😆)

Have you read any of the books I've highlighted? Do you have a favorite so far? I'd love for you to tell us about it!
