Maybe you've heard me talk about NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), which takes place every November. I've explained Camp NaNoWriMo which happens every April and July, but NaNoWriMo is quite a bit more intensive. Every Writer across the nation and world who participates is working towards the same goal of 50,000 words written from November 1st to November 30th by 11:59pm and not a second more. My camp goals have usually been around 25,000 words, so this being my very first NaNoWriMo, I'm facing a brand new challenge trying to double my highest monthly word count thus far.

If I can reach my goal of 50,000 words, I will hopefully be done with the first draft of Novel 2. Then I plan to take two run throughs self-editing and then send it to the Editor with Kregel publishing that requested it. So, I am running (writing) about a double marathon here folks.
Don't worry, I haven't forgotten my 1st Novel Hope for Charity. I'm almost done with my second proposal. This new literary agent requested a few extra things that I needed to add, but I'm almost done and will just need to put it all together neatly, before I send it off. Juggling two novels at once is quite an endeavor, but I am motivated and excited about what the future holds. I trust the Lord with it all and pray He'll take my novels and me where He wants us to go and reach whomever He wants us to reach.
I need to finish this up and get back to writing! Say a prayer for me please. Have a great week!
